COVAC 2010

We are asking each rider to collect donations from folks willing to sponsor their ride. Please encourage your coworkers, friends and family to support your ride and make a donation which will in turn support numerous worthwhile charities.

Net proceeds from this event benefit the "Amherst Rotary Good Works Fund”, which supports a broad range of humanitarian, cultural, and educational programs and activities. Some of these programs include:

Rotary International Initiatives: eradicating polio, supporting literacy projects, and providing potable drinking water.

Local Initiatives: High School Scholarships, Big Brother/Big Sister Programs, Western Mass Food Bank, Amherst Family Outreach.

Donation Form: print out a Donation Form

Donations will be recognized with a letter of thanks from the Rotary Club of Amherst and a receipt issued for tax purposes. The Rotary Club of Amherst Good Works Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization, so donations are tax-deductible.

Please do not mail cash. Cash or checks collected after that date can be turned in at registration on the day of the ride. 


Incentive:  Every rider who raises $100 or more will get a special ride sweatshirt!  Please indicate your size on the donation form.

Fundraising is completely voluntary and not a requirement for entering the ride.
