Rotary is an organization of business and professional
leaders united worldwide to provide humanitarian service,
encourage high ethical standads and help build goodwill
and peace in the world. Working within local clubs
and internationally, services are provided to children,
youth, the elderly, the disabled and to a large range
of cultural and environmental projects.
The Amherst Rotary Club is one of over 33,000 Rotary clubs in over 200 countries world wide belonging to Rotary International. The Amherst Rotary Club is made up of a diverse membership from the business, professional and civic communities of the Amherst Area.
As members of the Amherst Rotary Club we all strive to foster the ideal of "Service Above Self" while at the same time enjoying the fellowship and camaraderie of fellow members through our weekly luncheons and variety of service projects.
