An annual tradition returns to the Town Common on August 27, 28, 29 & 30 when the Amherst Rotary Town Fair opens for its four-day run.
Carnival rides such as a Ferris wheel and merry-go-round, a climbing wall, and a variety of other activities will be ready for children and adults.
**Fair Schedule:**
- **August 27:** 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM, 5:30 PM opening ceremony, Thursday - **August 28:** 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Friday - **August 29:** 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Saturday - **August 30:** 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Sunday The Rotary Club of Amherst uses money from the fair to provide scholarships to local students and assist nonprofits through donations.

The Amherst Rotary Town Fair is a major fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Amherst. Proceeds from the fair go to fund scholarships and assist many local non-profits in the community through small grants.
